In these challenging times, Chevallum Strawbfest is excited to kick off a new exciting project as a solution to a challenge the community is facing as a result of Covid-19.

This year over a five-week period, Chevallum State School will be hosting a series of raffle-based events with exciting weekly prizes valued at over $2000 each week.

There will be strawberries and strawberry based products sold in various locations around the Sunshine Coast including a weekly stall in the centre of the Sunshine Plaza Maroochydore.

“The Great Strawberry Bonanza is our way of giving back to the community which has supported our school for the last 30 years,” says Kirsten Bowman, President of the Chevallum State School P&C.

“It’s our way of igniting that sense of togetherness that Strawbfest gives us, reconnecting our wonderful local community back together”.

Culminating in an online event on the 19th September to announce award prize winners, lucky prize recipients will be announced through the website and Facebook platform.

The Great Strawberry Bonanza is all about moving forward together, toward the possibilities of a post-Covid19 Sunshine Coast.
